JULIA GOSS

Julia Goss, who was born in Scotland but had her main education in London, as her parents moved there while she was still a child. She went straight from school to Trinity College of Music, where she studied for three years. She had done a great deal of concert and operatic work while still at College which she left in April 1967 to join the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company.

After Valerie Masterson left the company in 1969, she became a principal soprano singing the parts of Mabel, Yum-Yum, Elsie Maynard, and Casilda.
